Information

The tournament is MERS-2 qualified and we will play 7 rounds of 120 minutes each, 4 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday.
The venue is 'NDC Den Hommel', Kennedylaan 9, Utrecht.

Saturday

Venue open at 9:00, start of round 1 at 9:30

Round 1: 9:30 - 11:30

Break & Snack: 30 minutes

Round 2: 12:00 - 14:00

Lunch: 45 minutes

Round 3: 14:45 - 16:45

Break & Snack: 30 minutes

Round 4: 17:15 - 19:15

Award Ceremony for Recreational players around 19:30


Sunday

Venue open at 9:00, start of round 5 at 9:30

Round 5: 9:30 - 11:30

Break & Snack: 30 minutes

Round 6: 12:00 - 14:00

F&B

Lunch and snacks between rounds, coffee / tea (to some extend, in the morning

and between rounds) are included in the fee.

Optionally you can have dinner at the venue on either day - this will be offered for €15.

You can 'opt-in' to have dinner at the venue, in which case you should add €15 / day to the participation fee.


Particpation

The particpation fee is fixed at €45 for both days, including above mentioned F&B (excl. dinner(s)).

The 'A' marks the Ibis, which is less than 5 minutes walk from the venue.

be put on the waiting list and added in groups of 4, or added as substitute in case another player cancels.


After completion of your registration, you will receive an e-mail with payment instructions.

   * General rules and regulations for the tournament are published in the ‘Mahjong Competition Rules’ (WMO 2006, a.k.a. ‘the green book’) and the ‘MERS Tournament Regulations – Mahjong Competition Rules’ (EMA 2008);

   * Personal data is used for organizational purposes (i.e. badges, presentation of participants, publication of results and rankings, et cetera);

   * You do not object to pictures being taken or video being shot during any stage of the championship and the publication thereof. The rights to these materials belong and remain to the organization of the Dutch Open.


All transferred and collected personal data in relation to the Dutch Open is only for internal use by the organizers and will never be shared with other parties.


Dutch players may only subscribe if they are member of the Dutch Association!
